They are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Crisis Response Team is a mobile outreach service that is designed to provide immediate crisis assessment, intervention and counseling, linkage and referral, and crisis follow-up contact. All in an effort to reach a resolution for adults and children who may be experiencing any type of emotional crisis, which can include: suicidal intentions, self destructive behaviors, or acute, severe, and intense emotional distress. The Team is also equipped to provide suicide prevention awareness, critical incident stress debriefing, and stress management. Business Line: 863-519-3747 The Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) is a secured 30 Bed Public receiving facility for Florida’s Baker Act. The CSU provides Psychiatric stabilization services to those who have met Florida Baker Act or Marchman Act criterion. Individuals who experience a crisis are stabilized usually within a 72 hour period at the unit. Services offered at the crisis stabilization unit include group counseling, medication management, recovery education, discharge planning and referrals, as well as family education.
