The Fire Watch
The Fire Watch is Northeast Florida's fight to end veteran
suicide. Over 6,000 U.S. veterans die by suicide each year,
including more than 500 in Florida. Our innovative Watch
Stander program mobilizes an early intervention network of
veteran and civilian volunteers trained to identify the warning
signs of veterans in crisis and to direct those veterans to the
help and resources they require. The program is available to
anyone.
